The Cottage

• One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds with two twin trundles.  
• The bathroom has a shower and tub and we provide soaps and shampoo.  
• The kitchen is complete with all the typical cooking supplies, including a crockpot and complimentary stocked coffee bar with drip coffee maker.  
• We provide a highchair and pack and play for the littles as well as a few books, toys, and games to help keep them entertained.  
• The living room has the only TV in the house and has Roku and Answers.TV as well as the ability to sign in to most any other streaming services you have.  
• There is a washer and dryer with complimentary laundry detergent.  
• All soaps and cleaning supplies are made with natural ingredients.     

All our rentals share a ridge of our 100 acre farm. The Cottage sits at the top of the hill and is neighbored by The Farmhouse.  Outside the cottage is a fire pit for your use during your stay.  Many of our guests' favorite memories of their time here include watching the sunset at the fire pit and enjoying the sunrise while drinking coffee on the porch in the morning.  During your stay you will also have access to our walking trail through the woods and the creek that runs along side it.  

We want you to be well informed before you book with us.  Our rentals offer a whole lot of perks but there are a few things that some might see as drawbacks.  They include:

1. This land is our home, as well as home to two other households. We ask that you respect the area around these homes by staying on marked trails. Please be respectful of the space around the other rental houses as well.
2. There are two dogs and three cats on the property. All are friendly and likely to show up around the cottage at some point during your stay. If they become a nuisance please do not hesitate to let us know.
3. The road to the property is a small, winding country road.  Please be aware that locals tend to drive faster than you would expect on it.  Also, snow is fairly uncommon most winters but it does make driving hazardous until the road crew gets the road cleared.
4. The property is serene and quiet 90% of the time. However, potential noises include; neighbors riding their four wheelers, gunshots from other farms, and loud vehicles on the road. The beauty of our land is that all of these occur a fair distance from the houses and is often little more than background noise.
